Katherine Heigl, the actress of "Grey's Anatomy," has herself about her experience of being born into the "white bubble" and how this realisation has impacted how she raises her adoptive multiracial children. She was in the movie "Firefly Lane" spoke to the media that it didn't matter what color her skin was for her. But after having a conversation with her Korean-American adopted sister, she realised the distinction between how others took care of her. "I inquired of Meg how she was different when she went out with us parents than when she went out alone. She replied "Oh Yes, all the moment!" Heigl said to Parents, "That made me realise that I was so naive." She admitted to becoming upset, but she felt that she had to channel her anger to aid adopt her daughters. The couple, who are married to Josh Kelley and their son Joshua Bishop Kelley Jr. 4 have been together for thirteen years. In 2009, they adopted Nancy Leigh (12), an adopted daughter of South Korea, and Adalaide (8 an African-American child) in the year 2012.
