Emily Irene VanCamp is a Canadian actress known for her roles as lead actress on a number of TV shows, and also for her powerful performances in movies. There is a huge fanbase on American as well as Canadian television. Emily's interest in acting began at the age of 12 when she visited their sister Katie who was shooting one of Katie's movies. Once she discovered her passion in the world of acting she enrolled herself in classes for it and started auditioning. Emily's role in the WB show Glory Days, which was canceled nine episodes later, caught the attention and casting of Greg Berlanti from Dawson's Creek. Emily was an accomplished ballet dancer and also took up photography. Teen listed her as one top actress under 20. In Maxim's Hot 100 List of 2014 ranked Emily at 51.
